Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how CAZA COMM ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use the UseDump mobile application. We are committed to being transparent about our data practices and respecting your rights.
UseDump is operated by CAZA COMM, a French SAS (simplified joint stock company) acting as the data controller for your personal information.

We do not collect precise geolocation, financial information (payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider), health data, or any special category data as defined by the GDPR.
We use your personal data to: provide and operate the UseDump service, display your photos in the app feed and Photo Dumps, enable social features such as following other users and receiving notifications, send you push notifications that you have opted into (daily reminders, friend activity), process future print orders when the service becomes available, improve and develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns, communicate with you about service updates or issues with your account, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than providing the service and fulfilling your print orders.
We share your data only with the following categories of service providers, strictly for the purposes described:
Supabase (data hosting and authentication): your account data and photos are stored on Supabase servers located in the United States (East US, North Virginia region). Supabase acts as our data processor and is committed to data protection standards.
Expo / Apple (app distribution and push notifications): push notification tokens are used to deliver notifications through Apple's Push Notification service.
Future printing partners: when our printing service launches, your photos and delivery address will be shared with our printing partner solely to fulfill your order. We will update this policy with the identity of our printing partner before the service goes live.
Future payment processor: payment for print orders will be processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Stripe). We will never have access to your full credit card number.
We may also disclose your data if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the safety of our users.
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this means your data is transferred outside of your jurisdiction.
We ensure appropriate safeguards for these transfers through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or by relying on our service providers' compliance with recognized data protection frameworks.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide you with the service. Specifically:
Account data (email, username, profile information): retained until you delete your account.
Photos and Photo Dumps: retained until you delete them individually or delete your account.
Notification data: retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
Survey responses: retained for the duration of product development, then anonymized or deleted.
Order data (future): retained for 5 years after the order date to comply with French commercial and tax law obligations.
When you delete your account, we permanently erase your personal data, photos, and Photo Dumps from our servers. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten.
You can: access, edit, or delete your personal information through the app settings, delete your account at any time (which permanently removes all your data), control your notification preferences in the app settings, and contact us at caza.comm@gmail.com with any questions about your data.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, rectify inaccurate or incomplete data, erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to certain types of data processing, receive your data in a portable format (data portability), and withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In France, this is the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) at www.cnil.fr.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used, request deletion of your personal information, opt out of the sale of your personal information (note: we do not sell your data), and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

UseDump is committed to child safety. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Any content involving the exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
UseDump is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and terminate the associated account.

We take the security of your data seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including: encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure password storage using industry-standard hashing, Row Level Security on our database to ensure users can only access their own data, and regular review of our security practices.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
UseDump is a mobile application and does not use browser cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not serve advertisements in the app.
If we integrate analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before any tracking takes place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. For significant changes that affect how we use your data, we will notify you through the app or by email.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of UseDump after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
